Answered prayers -- Amy's new job!

Thanks for praying about Amy's new job!  All doctors (both foreign and Ecuadorian) are required to give a "rural year" of service to get their Ecuadorian medical license.  It isn't always in a rural setting (but often is) and you have been praying that we would be able to stay in the Quito area for Amy to do this.  Thank God we don't have to move again! (six times in a year was a lot)  The Ministry of Health has assigned her to Hospital Eugenio Espejo here in Quito, where she sees patients that are hospital employees and others that come to triage with symptoms of the swine flu and other problems.

There is a significant risk of being exposed to the swine flu so some helpful friends have brought Tamiflu meds back from the U.S. for her just in case.  She really likes the job and has some very nice people to work with -- not bad for a "required" assignment!  Every doctor with our mission has had to fulfill this requirement, and we would love your prayers that she would be a great encouragement to her patients and co-workers.  We are absolutely relieved to not have to pack up all our stuff again!
