Three-day weekend!

We didn't have language school class today because of a national holiday -- the annexation of Guanacaste! (of course)  It's a part of Costa Rica that had to decide back in 1825 whether to be included in Nicaragua or Costa Rica, and they've been celebrating the decision ever since.  So, we decided to take the kids to the San Jose Children's Museum!  They had a great time in the building that looks like a castle but actually used to be a penitentiary (maybe the kids behave better there?).  It's a nice museum and only costs $2 to get in.  Our friends, the McEwens, went with us -- they are a family starting language school next month.

Ari's favorite part of the museum was the big mouth where she gets to go in and sit on one of the teeth, while Isaiah loved the dancers who performed while we were at lunch.  (Daniel slept through most of the trip).  Ari and Isaiah fell asleep on the way back in the cab, it was very cute to see them leaning on each other and drifting off.

We only have about three weeks left here!  Thanks for praying for us, it really means so much to us.  We could use it the next few weeks as we finish up classes, exams, packing, and head to Ecuador on Aug. 16th!

Love, Tim and everyone
